6, 2007) -- Montgomery MotorSports Park is one of the largest drag strips in
the Southeast with a 1/4 mile racing surface and acres of pit spaces, but
the O'Reilly Super Chevy Show will stretch the track to its limits
September 14-16.
 The lady
with the 8,0000 horsepower jet dragster will rock fans world Saturday and
Sunday as Jessie Harris takes her "Queen of Diamonds" dragster down
the track in a flame-spewing quarter mile blast twice each day. The
twenty-something Harris more than holds her own against male competition
with a top run of 310 miles per hour down the quarter-mile.
Also featured will be "The King of the Wheelstanders," Bob Hall,
with his supercharged Airborne Express Chevy Astrovan which can turn in a
quarter-mile of less than 10 seconds on two wheels while Hall steers with
the rear brakes.
The TREMEC Transmission Car Show Series is the world's largest
single-brand car show series and will have separate competitions Saturday
and Sunday with a field of several hundred cars expected.

Also part of the O'Reilly Super Chevy show is the Car Corral,
where used show cars, race cars and daily drivers will be lined up waiting
for a new home. Car Corral participants also get free admission to a huge
car auction which will take place after the Saturday competition. Hundreds
of show car sellers and buyers are expected for the first car auction ever
held at a Super Chevy Show.
The Swap Meet at MMP will be full of pre-loved car parts and
pieces and the Performance and Restoration Marketplace will feature dozens
of vendors with the latest in automotive aftermarket equipment and supplies.
