Extreme MMP Track Transition

27, 2007) -- Concrete trucks lined up at Montgomery MotorSports Park this
morning as the final stage of the MMP "Extreme Transition Makeover" began
with a huge pour of high strength concrete into the transition area. MMP
Track Manager Bob Carney and owner Jimmy Easterling were on hand to
supervise the pour, which was preceded by days of completely digging out the
old transition and preparing the subsurface to receive up to 70 yards of
concrete.Racers get their first shot at the track on Friday, April 6 with
a Test and Tune with gates opening at 6pm and cars running 7pm- 11:30pm. The
latest in the TCI/Comp Cams Heads-Up Series will be held at MMP on Saturday,
April 7. Gates will open at 9am.
The Flowmaster American Drag Racing League brings Pro Extreme, Pro Nitrous,
Extreme 10.5 and Pro Extreme Motorcycle action to MMP April 13-15 with the
