SCORE - MMP'S Super 7 Series 2, Rain 0
 (May
5, 2008) -- Once again, rookie Montgomery Motorsports Park promoter Jim
Howard decided to ignore threatening weather forecasts and came away with an
awesome two day Mullis Super 7 event. On Saturday (5/3), rain started
falling at the rate of two inches per hour on MMP. Howard cast the dice and
bet that the rain would stop and the MMP crew could dry the track and race.
Howard won the bet.

An Open Letter to all Street Racers

(Feb.
20, 2008) -- Eight more deaths in
a street racing
incident this past weekend and many more
seriously injured. I don't understand it.
Just a few weeks ago, we had
two of our fellow racers and friends killed right here in Alabama. As a matter of fact, one
them drove right past MMP just to have
a fatal street racing incident
90 miles away.

NHRA Dixie Heads-Up Series Coming to
MMP
 (Feb.
19, 2008) -- Coming to Montgomery, September 27-28, the NHRA
Dixie Heads-Up series will be contested at 1/8th mile tracks in the
Division. The series will consist of 6 events with 4 classes per event.
There will be a 6.0 class, 7.0 class, and two 4.70 classes-Top Modified
and Pro Dragster. After points are tracked for the entire 6 event
series, a Division Champion for each class will receive a Champions
Wally Trophy, jacket, and Gold card for the upcoming season.
